The mission of the National Remotivation Therapy Organization, Inc. is:

(1) to educate interested persons in remotivation,

(2) to unite into one organization all persons trained in remotivation,

(3) to promote and maintain high standards of remotivation,

(4) to improve and expand remotivation,

(5) to keep remotivators informed of developments that will enhance their delivery,

(6) to work cooperatively with other groups interested in remotivation, and

(7) to inform facility administrators and officials as well as the public of trends and values of remotivation" (NRTO Policy & Procedure Manual, 1995, p. 3).

The National Remotivation Therapy Organization, Inc. (NRTO) sponsors certification courses in basic, advanced, and instructor level remotivation therapy.
